Kate Humble in conversation

Friday 9th November 2018, 7.30pm
Venue: Seckford Theatre
Tickets: £22 including a copy of the book

Taking a daily walk has become as essential as that first cup of tea for tv presenter, Kate Humble.

Introducing her new book, ‘Thinking on My Feet’, Kate shared the story of her walking year - the routes she’s taken, people she’s met, the problems solved, the inspiration gained, her thoughts and feelings while enjoying the landscape.

Kate is one of the UK’s best-known and much-loved broadcasters, and the familiar face for BBC’s 'Springwatch' and 'Back to the Land’.

She spoke to a packed audience at Seckford Theatre with people patiently queuing for up to an hour to have a word with Kate and their book signed.

Tickets were £22 to include a copy of ‘Thinking on My Feet’, presented on the evening. (One additional ticket, without the book, was purchased at £15.) Available from Browsers Bookshop, 60 Thoroughfare, Woodbridge IP12 1AL. Tel: 01394 388890

Comments from members of the audience:

"Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the Kate Humble event. As a recent convert to the joys of walking, I felt quite inspired by Kate’s enthusiasm (although I think the joys of wild camping will always elude me). The conversation between the two of you flowed really well - not an easy thing to achieve with someone who presents for a living." Trood
